DO NOT buy restaurant equipment from these people. New stuff is very overpriced. Used stuff are reconditioned appliances, that had problems. When we bought a used True freezer, over $1,800, I knew I needed to get the warranty they pushed on me. Then months later it broke down. Using the warranty was a nightmare. Burkett didn’t care one bit that I had to pay for the $900 repair out of pocket. Then fight tooth and nail to get full reimbursement. They refused to pay sales tax. so many thing sent incorrectly, they took about 6 months to get every thing correct. I was told by the CEO that they feel that they eventually got it correct. The CEO feels like that is the same as getting it right the first time. They also refused to take responsibility for a vender that did an unprofessional job. I was told by the CEO that I would be reimbursed for a service call that showed that the job was never finished. We were told on more than one occasion that a representative would follow up on some of our questions in regard to the piece of equipment we were looking at purchasing, and follow-up did not happen unless we called them again. We were given a delivery window of 10/31-11/11, and when we called on 11/9 to check on status, we were told it wasn't even going to ship until after the 16th of November. I ordered a machine with a die that I knew would work,(and the die I wanted was listed on your advertisement, but you sent me a different one that was way too big, then replaced it with another one that was too big. Was visited by one of your employers with the assurance that He would try to help me get the right Die. I purchased a slicer, used it once, not working correctly, called sales rep. and sent a video. The only assistance I received was to contact the company with a phone number. I find that very poor customer service. Why not order directly? All the best

Totally Dissatisfied and Disappointed. I bought the Vitamix 5201XL because I am A Vitamix lover and have owned an used a smaller Vitamix before. But my experience with Burkett in terms of customer service and what the Vitamix 5201XL has produced has been very very disappointing to say the least.
